Two months in — what AI actually runs for me now

When I left Google, the thing I actually wanted wasn't a company. It was time and location freedom.
But I still had a lofty goal: build a million-dollar one-man business.
Five years ago I'd have called that delusional. I don't think it is anymore with the help of AI.
Two months in, here's where it stands.
Two consecutive cohorts of the Academy fully booked. Around 250,000 LinkedIn impressions. And just over 100 of you subscribed to the Income Stack newsletter.
All of that while parenting, trading my own book, teaching, and running the operations.
I am nowhere near my million-dollar-revenue goal, but I don't think I could have done so much in 2 months without the help of AI.
The thing that used to cap a one-person business was never ambition. It was operating cost.
That constraint has been significantly lifted.
What AI actually runs now.
Content. A daily agent reads everything I've captured in the past week — books, meeting notes, shower ideas, thoughts from a run — and pulls out what's genuinely worth saying to you. It drafts, critiques its own draft, and queues the result for me to approve. Then it learns weekly from what I passed and what I killed.
Web and IT. An agent is my entire web function. Landing page, site, hosted apps. It built a full options-screening tool — for my students and my own trading — in under two months. It screens hundreds of contracts against my criteria, and the same agent fixes its bugs and ships its features.
Admin and finance. Invoicing and accounting run themselves. Revenue and costs land in a ledger. I send an invoice by typing a sentence.
None of that existed in June.
Now the honest part.
This is the tip of the iceberg, and I mean that literally rather than modestly.
Every one of those systems still ends at me. The content queues for my approval. The screener follows my criteria. Nothing ships that I haven't looked at. That's the right design for now — but it means what I've built is leverage, not absence, and those are different things.
The plan from here is unglamorous: take each function, define the system properly, replace the process. Most of them are not replaced yet.
